Living Places – Simon Architecture Prize 2018

We are proud to announce the second edition of the architecture award Living Places – Simon Architecture Prize 2018. The call is open to all projects which were finished and had already been put into use from 1rst january 2016 to 31st of December 2017 in European or Mexican territories. Register your project until 10.09.2018!

The architecture award Living Places – Simon Architecture Prize 2018 singles out those architectures of excellence that foster the adaptation of spaces in the quest for the comfort of their inhabitants. Architectures that become transformed into places of quality for people in their daily lives: for working, learning, playing... Architecture to be lived in.

An international well nowned jury will valuate the projects into two award categories: Personal Places and Collective Places. The prize is characterised by an aproach defined on the basis of the perspective of the inhabitant, by adopting the video format as the essential means by which to explain the infividual work and by a participation proces that includes inhabitants and allows them to propose those works they regard as worthy of consideration by the Jury.

The Jury of Living Places – Simon Architecture Prize 2018 is composed by:

Davide Rapp, Architect and video artist . Milan

Cecilia Tham, Biologist turned designer turned entrepreneur,Hong Kong-Barcelona
